Look At Me!

I'm still doing some tweaking, but it was high time that this site became a little more pretty. I knew as soon as I started messing around with downloading templates and moving things for which I have no business touching, Allan would grab my laptop and make it all good. Sure enough, he locked himself away for a while, all for the sake of my little blog. How's it working for you?

This is really beautiful. Great work! Too bad I normally view your posts in my reader, so I don't get the whole experience all the time. :)

I like it. I really like the colors (red and green). It looks very flowerdust-esque. Is the font smaller or am I now to the point of needing these darn glasses all the time?

Allan complained about the small font size, too, so we ("we" meaning "Allan") will try to get that fixed at some point.

Jen, I read most of mine in reader, too, so that's why I made a post - just so you'd all come look at it!

Ewww - I just looked at the site on another computer. The picture & books sidebar are aligned funny. I also need to figure out how to get my twitter updates here...

While I think the general style is headed in the right direction, there's a lot of tweaks I'd like to see. Making the type larger (a personal pet peeve, I'm looking at you, Flowerdust) should be pretty easy.

I also think the flourish-y stuff is a bit much. It's definitely a common theme that I see out there (guilty!), but I would personally tone it down a bit.

I've made two blogs in the last few months, both built on Expression Engine. It went even faster and smoother than I hoped, which makes me think that building a proper one for Kristi will be a good Fall/Winter project.

Kristi's really invested herself in her blog this year - she really deserves a quality home for her writings.

Stylish.

But that is a first impression.

This is beautiful. It seems to express a certain man's love for his wife and this journey they call life. Can I have a printed copy for my wall please!
