NOOOOO!!!

Yesterday evening, as I lay in misery on the couch, trying to still my brain from the volts of paralyzing dizziness and the unrelenting waves of naseau, I chose to take a break from staring at the television (it helps to avoid the dizziness if I don't move my eyes) to write a blog post about the events of the previous days. I included great musings about the encouragment of the Mercy Me & Steven Curtis Chapman concert, the blessing of a local funeral we attended, my love for the new Narnia movie, and partaking in other assorted Christmas parties and great seasonal treasures, such as It's a Wonderful Life and The Polar Express. Obviously, said post is not on my blog. Hmmm...why would that be?? Because I do not listen to my own advice. Did I write my post in a text editor or at least periodically cut and paste it into another document form so as to not lose my treasure of word pictures? No, of course not! I wrote a probably-too-long post, with more links included than the local golf course can boast. I was all done, save for one link to a Narnia picture, when appeared the dreaded pinwheel of death and the message, "Firefox hates you and mocks your work. Would you like to close Firefox or restart it?" Or something like that. I don't want either option! How about "I'm sorry. Firefox is freaking out. Here is where your magnificient text has been saved. We promise not to do this again. And here is a gift certificate for a free massage for the trouble and stress we have caused you."

Sooo sorry honey, I felt terrible for you! I've had that happen, and it's so demoralizing.

I read it before its stillbirth: it was long, thoroughly cross-linked, and elegant as always. I'll just have to... >snif< treasure it in my heart!

I've been using other editors (I like Xpad, which holds multiple text files in it at once) and QuickSilver's Clipboard holder to keep "versions" of the post in memory. This is useful for lots of things!

Blogger is supposed to save drafts of the entry, but that didn't happen for some reason.

There seems to be a bug in Firefox 1.5 and Flash 8 - this is likely the cause. You might use Safari rather than Firefox for browsing Flash sites (though how do you know until you're there? Gah).

We might consider switching your default browser from Firefox to Safari - it's been updated in huge ways since we set you up (back then Firefox was better). There are bugs that cause problems, and Safari's more stable and better now.

Ok Sorry about deleting that last post. I can stand a few grammatical error's but I need you to understand what I'm trying to say. Here let me try again.
I think you should download the new version of "Don't-Jack-With-My-Blog" from the "You Can't Touch This Co." that way you won't loose blogs in the future. I'm mad because you can write and I like reading your blogs. Anyway, sorry you don't feel good, hang in there. Lord please give K-White some "all-day sickness" relief. In Christ's name I pray. Amen

Hey Kristi, I can feel your nausea! I had it that bad with Caleb. I even canceled a trip because I felt so bad!
Hang in there, you know it gets a bit better!

I hate lsong things to stupid computer problems. The worst is when you're writing a paper you don't want to write, thats due way too early in the semester on a topic you don't care about and you're almost done when uh-oh we're suddnely closing. Would you like to send an error report? Who do those go to, they're not helping!!! Grrrrr.

It's amazing to me that the original message can never be recreated in it's original genius and clever style. When it goes away, the "spark" goes with it, with a "nuts, I'm not even going to try to re-do it!!!!" Question from the male side: if you get mad enough, does the "sick" go away like an unsaved message or even a momentary reprieve?

I heard the concert was awesome! Steven Curtis Chapman is good but I hear that the Christmas concert is really good. Glad you got to go and we will keep you in prayer about the nausea.
